Cichlid recommendation for.............

I'm changing my 38 to a 55. Are there some cichlids that would work with the type of fish I have in there? I also could move the green severum from the 75 to the 55 and get a new fish for the 75. Some people on here claimed to have kept GTs and JDs with ctenopomes. I was thinking maybe a con and JD? Would salvini be out of the question? Chocolate? I'd like a RD or Texas, but I'm worried they won't mix with what I have. Recommendations for the 1,345,668th topic on stocking a tank? Thanks

hmm im not sure about adding the severum, if your going to be putting all thats in ure sig from the 38 to 55 then JD is a no con will likely kill things too... as will salvini

the severum might work but not if u want to add others like JD con etc.

I would only add the severum to the 55 if I wanted to put a new fish in the 75 instead. That's why I was asking about JDs and convicts.

id say no to the tex. i have 2 carpinte and they are bosses my one killed a polleni and a dovii, both were smaller than him, but still.

ok well the sev would be ok in the 55 with the others, may be some casualties but nothing to bad, you could add a JD to the 75 if you moved the sev to the 55, and probably a convict or two.
