I would really like some help with my African Cichlid tank. I started out with around 20 mbunas and now I only have six. It's a 55g Long with a canister(350 Magnum) and an Emperor 400 filters. I also made a under gravel jet system. I don't mind putting things other than cichlids in the tank at all.

I really need some help!:newbie:

I disagree with spadoc79. I would not do auratus. They are one of the most aggressive mbuna and therefore I don't think they will do that well in a 55g. The elongatus is also a highly aggressive species, so mixing these two is ok - but I just think you will have WWIII in a tank that "small." This becomes especially true if you have yellow labs, red zebras, and cobalt blues (going off clownknife, I couldn't tell - pics would be better for ID). Those three species are much less aggressive and will likely be bullied and probably killed in no time with a tank full of auratus and elongatus.
