Cichlid sticks vs Cichlid pellets

Which is better or is it the same? My female jack only eats sticks and ignores the pellets.

My fish eat both and don't seem to prefer one over the others I personally prefer pellets

I used to have an Oscar that loved the sticks. One time I wanted the other fish to get some of the food too, so I broke the sticks into small pieces and then Oscar would not touch them.

I am using up the last of my Hikari food sticks but once Im done, I wont buy them again. I find them messy and and they are also expensive. I can get NLS at cheaper prices and I think its a better quality food.

Ive never tried the sticks. Price being 1 factor and preferring NLS to be the other.

At my lfs the sticks and pellets are the same price, and NLS is nowhere to be found in my city.
