Cichlid Stocking Plans

Hi, everybody.

I'm going to be stocking cichlids in my new tank, which is 33"x16"x20", and it will be filtered by two Fluval U4 filters. I was wondering if you could correct these stocking plans as necessary so that I'd have no aggression and not be overstocked? Thanks.


Plan 1

4x Rainbow Cichlids
4x Pictus Cats


Plan 2

1x Green Terror (Gold Saum)
2x BN Plecos


Plan 3

1x Firemouth
1x Rainbow Cichlid
1x Bloody Parrot
1x Blue Acara


I'm guessing I'd be hideously overstocked with all of these, but all responses are appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't do any of those options, tank is too small for each of them. Take the pictus out of option 1 and go for a smaller schooling fish and it could work.

Yes, all of those in the same tank...it should work...maybe get a couple rams, 3 or 4 angels, 1 blue acara, a couple bn plecos, and a couple of gouramis
