Hay all i have a tank spare right now and loads of half inch fry in my main tank but im going to try and see if i can grow some much faster than there brothers and sisters,

what im going to do is put some fry in this spare tank 2.5' x 18" x 18"

Tank
Substrate will be Gravel
The filter will be a Fluval 3 (tall)
Tank 2.5' x 18" x 18"
Water changed 50% Weekly,
Temps 90Degrees / 32c

Foods
Flake / Cichlid granules / Carnivore Cichlid Sticks
Cucumber / Lettice / Butternut Squash
Prawn

Fish
1 x Black Convict
1 x Blue Convict
1 x Texas or Jack Dempsey carnt remember which
1 x Random very small Cichlid

Clean up crew
1 x Giant Crab LFS label (Unknow species)
(i might also get a Pleco depending how dirty the tank gets)

Im posting here so i can keep a record of there growth and any problems i encounter

Mondays 9th Feb Pics,
The fish are definetly very active, and healthy.
Temps still 90 and will be staying at this heat.
I now tend to turn the filter off when feeding

also i have removed a large ammount of the rock due to never seeing the fish,

They all look healthy and the smallest seems to have visually grown a small ammount

i quite liked the big rock but like you said, the fish hide away a lot
