im going to be upgrading from my small 29 gallon and thinking about getting a 47gallon up right aquarium but i was questioning on getting cichlids because its more depth then movement for the fish so any information would help thanks!
Long is always better than tall when it comes to most cichlids, this is because they mark their territory based on the footprint of the tank and not the water column.
But I guess some dwarf species could work. Or convicts.
They're cheap but might be hard to find depending on where you live. Cichlidstation.com had them on sale for $4 each at 2" but they only have 1 left. I'm from miami and had to get mine shipped from Los Angeles which ended up being not so cheap thanks to shipping costs.
