Hi,
I have a 29 gallon Malawi tank and I am trying something kind of risky:
Pair of Electric Yellows
1 Demasoni
1 Acei
1 Red-Tail Shark
1 Chinese Algae Eater
From what I have heard, putting only this many fish in a tank together would be trouble. But these fish have been in the tank only about 3 weeks and it seems like a pretty normal cichlid setup. Aggression, but typical. Only when they get in another's way. My Red-Tail Shark is the biggest in the tank because the rest are less than an inch probably.Chinese Algae-Eater was resorted to because I believe my shark beat up my Pleco that I had originally. Currently, I am working on rearranging my tank to incorrporate more hiding spots. I will attach some photos of fish and tank on my profile album so that I can get some suggestions on layout. I know, my tank is too small, and I should probably stick to only one species, but I will take my chances.
