5/23/2012 Cichlid Tank Update (72"L x 24"W x 26"H)

All Geophagus and Synspillum relocated to my other set ups. Added a Melanurus, Bleekeri, Polleni, and Hogamoboorum. The glass tank is on my 42" tall DIY stand. Already have the cabinets and need to skin it below, but been procrastinating a bit. Was going to build a stand to rack 2 195 gal. (yup had a twin tank in garage!) but thought about flooring stability and children safety. That is a separate subject but What do you guys think for the time being?

Looking as awesome as ever. Personally think its looks better without the Geos but why move the Syns?

Would love for her to stay in here, but was being picked on from the Black Belt. Which left her very stressed out and scrapes from the attacks a week ago. Here is a pic. 12" of sexiness!

Haven't payed attention to the vent. But I presume it's a male. I have yet to have a fish with a defined nuchal hump.

Nuchal is gonna less present in communities, usually seen on the dominant fish if it has the genetics for it.
