Cichlid Tank

I took the dive and completely stocked tank of cichlids. I have 3 peacocks, 1 strawberry, and one blood parrot.

Ratio of 1 male to 3 females.

So far so good. Feeding time is a frenzy but all are eating for now. If not I have a time out tank as well as a larger space for them.

Great! I neve heard about cichlids getting on well. Different species! Wow, that is great!

A lot depends on the region they are from and the ratio of male to females. You would not want to have South American and African cichlids in the tank.

Yes, they have midas genes in them

And the peacocks to my understanding have mbuna in the genes. But could be mistaken.

i think what they are saying then is you have american and african cichlid in the same tank.

It's red devil and redhead/vieja, not midas.
