Cichlid... what do I have here?

I would like some help with this cichlid. I bout him as a "rainbow cichlid"

now does anyone know what it really is? sorry for the poop pictures.. he wouldn't sit still.


is he african or american he is in my tank with 2 jack dempsy and getting along well.

sometimes these combos work out.. but he should have a few places to hide if he needs to get away. Pretty african!

The trick is to have stable water conditions. Most fish keepers buy their fish at the store which were tank bred and raised at X Ph so they do pretty well in most conditions.
