whats up, i'm a big cichlid fan. i have a 240 gall. tank with (2) 12" oscars, a flowerhorn- 10in., red devil-7in., wolf cichlid-10in., jaguar-5in., jack dempsey-8in., a cross breed between the wolf and jag ( hoffa) cichlid-9in.. and a sailfin pleco-8in.
the tank is highly aggresive with the wolf dominating.

I am just starting a cichlid tank. I introduced 4 Jack Dempseys into my tank with 2 12 inch plecos and a small cat fish. What are your thoughts on changing out the gravel for sand? Well it effect the plecos in a negative way?
