So I'm getting a 125 gallon and would like to stock a few more fish. in a year or 2 I'll be getting a 300 so size isnt a huge issue, but I would like some help on what to stock. Right now i have an oscar, a jack dempsey, a clown knife, a senegal bichir, and 2 plecos. all of the fish are about 8-9 inches except the jack dempsey which is 4-5. what other cichlids can I get? or even not cichlids.

Sounds like a perfectly stocked 125. Unless you have a large sump and are religious about weekly water changes, I wouldnt get anything else.
You could always replace the poop machines (plecos) with a catfish or 2.
