When I moved back to SLC, I was forced to consolidate the occupants of two tanks into one. The list includes one ornate at about 8.5", two senegals at about 10", four fully grown scalare angels, a pair of young firemouths (3-3.5"), a BGK at a solid 7", and five JD's varying between 3 and 4.5". Oh, and one 13" tire-track eel. Surprisingly enough, there is no real aggression other than the ritual game of tag played by the Dempseys. All fins are intact, and all fish eat well.
Now for the record, I do an 80% water change every other day, in addition to having both canister and HOB filtration in place, and would never reccommend anyone put that many fish in a 90 gal. for long term. This week I plan to set up my other tank so I can cater to everyone's water preferences and balance out the bioload a bit.
So for compatability, I'd agree with Anne's list as well as her statement that each individual fish will respond differently.
