I have Sajica Cichlids (3) a Firemouth and 3 spot gouaramis a aggaziz cichlid and some rams.
I have just introduced some apple snails, thinking they would be good for tank environment. All the fish ignore them apart from the Sajics who are very interested and appear to want to eat them but dont know how. The snails appear to be able to protect themselves but I wonder if they will ever prosper as they spend most of their days being pushed around and uprooted but the sajicas.
Are these snails compatible with my fish, if not are there any others that would be?
I have a second tank with a large CAE in it but I am sure he would eat snails if given a chance, anyway he does his own tank maintenance quite well...
