Cichlids + Cherry red shimp

I'm Thinking that if I put cherry red shrimp in a tank with a bunch of African Cichlids the shrimp will get eaten. am I wrong in thinking this?

what kind of cichlids?! answer is probably yes. but ghost shrimp just about rule the tank with my multis and guppies

Cichlids + Cherry red shimp = lunch for cichlids

Forget the shrimps with cichlids. Shrimps are very vulnerable to attacks especially when they molt.
