The dandelions are coming up like crazy, and are very tender this time of year, so while digging worms for predators, I can also get food for vegetarians like xCichlasoma bocourti or in the past pearsei.

Looks refreshing. Can human benefit anything from eating that weed?

Dandelions are not native to the US, but were brought as food from Europe for humans.
Been eating them for years like spinach myself, and had relatives that made dandelion wine, I tried that myself once, with less than stellar results.
