Cichlids eating plants, who to blame?

I tried putting some egeria densa in my tank the other day, a couple days later, had they not only been torn up, but eaten, completely.
I didn't give up so easily, as I would like to have some plants in my tank. I put Anubias in the tank, and the day after all the leafs had been eaten.

In my tank, 125g I have:

1x Firemouth
1x Oscar
Pair of Heros Efasciatus

Who is eating the plants? I suspect the Efasciatus, but not sure.

I would guess the Severum as well.

The sevs are eating the plants but the oscar will be tossing them around like a cat with a ball of yarn.
