I have had good luck there too, a number of times.
At one point, I ordered 2 separate species, and got a call saying after he caught one of them, he didn't like how it looked health wise, and asked if I wanted a substitute for the one.
I considered this excellent advice and took only the one he deemed healthy.
To me this is a sign of expert who cares about the fish, and the customer.
Below are some shots of that very order, and how they turned out a few months later.

That is awesome! I've been wanting some Amphilophus Lyonsi for the LONGEST time. I find them so cool and now i have the chance to get some. Thanks for the response.

Dan is a good vendor. I would vouch for them. I have had a few fish come from him in the past few years. I get them indirectly thru an LFS that only orders CA/SA cichlids from him.
