I love to see monster cichlids showing off their weapons of mass distruction. I had an Islantum cichlid that had a wicked set of teeth. I also had a Jaguar that had a nice set of small fangs, which I thought was rare. What other cichlids have visible teeth other than Istlantum, Jaguar, and Wolf cichlids?:grinno:

there are quite a few......Trimac's, Umbee's, lots of Africans do.......to many to mention but there out there.

Dwarf Mbuna (mini-monsters) have the worst teeth IMO aside from piranhas of course. Not as scary looking as they are smaller, but they do a lot more damage than the big cichlids. As they are made for scraping algea off rocks (they've got heavy duty lips too) they are really deadly in a fight. When the males go at it, fins are gone in seconds & scales literally rain down onto the bottom .The snap when they break a lip-lock is audible outside the tank on a 3.5" fish. I tried keeping a flowerhorn twice their size in with them once and they took most of her face off in a day, had to remove her. She did recover but it took a long time to grow back her lips.

whats the min tank sizes for these fish... let's giv ppl an idea of these monsters, and how they should be kept
