Are green sunfish cichkid i just got one .i was fish its a female it can go in tank male.jd female ate baby that they had in she started to try in kill him so hes in55gallon n new femake.

lol, no, green sunfish are not cichlids, they are... sunfish. Some say sunfish are the native equivalent of Cichlids (personality-wise) but I have never kept one so I can't back up that claim.
