ciclid compatability?

I was just asked by a family friend about compatible cichlids, so I need to ask the experts as I am not.

They want to try a blue acara, red shoulder sev, gold sev, blood parrot, and blue convict in their 135g, it's a 72x18x25. All are small, about 1in to 1 1/4 in right now.

Does sound interesting if it'll work.

Sounds good, let your friend know that your "blue convict" is either a honduran redpoint or a hybrid between the two.

nothing too aggressive in that mix - if they grow up together in the 135 it should be fine.

And they should be okay for life, right? Also with a couple pictus cats and a type of pleco, not sure what type they're getting.

Get some bushynose catfish, not large plecos though.

I'm not sure what pleco they plan to stock, but I'll advise them on the bushynose type.

Cant see any reason it wont work in that size tank and those species. Unless someone gets a chip on their sholder you ought to be fine.
