Yep, they are just a massive load on a tank. My old one was 16" and made my 8ft 300 look small. My current one was just acquired this past week at 11" and is putting a big load on its 90 gallon quarantine tank. Another week and I can move it to its permanent 300 gallon home. Sad to hear you had to rehome yours... maybe a bigger tank in your future and another pearsei then...

yes I would definitely keep one again in the future with very little other stock, my tank is around 265 gallons and the fish looked massive in there plus I have it already heavily stocked so I had to rehome but recommend the pearsei to anyone who has the room?
