Like the title says i'm wanting to use cinder blocks to support the tank from behind the wall and on the opposite side it sits just above the bar top. Anyway I would like some input from others that have used blocks as to whether or not i could make this work. See the attached sketch below. The front 3.5 inches of the tank will be supported by the wall, I will be covering the 2x4 wall cap and the cinder blocks with at least 3/4" plywood and it will be screwed down into the wall cap for rigidity.

Because of the length of the block, 16", there will be a 2" overhang of plywood at either end of the blocks, the two outer columns will have a 16" opening between them and the next column and a 8" opening between the 2 center columns. Reason for the openings is to have shelves incorporated into them.
