Hi everyone I just picked up a new tank and need to make a stand. Was thinking cinder blocks and some 2x4's across it. I have no access to power tools so thought this would be the easiest way to go. Just wondering what the ideal layout of the blocks and wood would be best. I was thinking 3 blocks high at each corner and 3 in the middle for extra support. It's a 90 gallon tank with 1/2 inch thick glass. Thanks in advance!

The desk you see in the back is abit short for length. It's 45 inches in length so 3 inches short. I hear it's bad to have ANY overhang so it won't work. I asked a friend if it would work to have 7/8 inch think plywood under the tank at 48x24 on that desk but he said no.

Cinder blocks should be fine. Just make sure you have a piece of plywood underneath with a yoga mat or something on top to level/evenly support it it since it's rimless.
