i was wondering what everyone thought about cinder blocks in the aquarium.
i want to add something for caves but can't find terracotta tubes so i'm thinking cinder blocks painted with drylok, the cinder blocks will be hidden under rocks.
my understanding is that cinder blocks are alright in the tank but raise th ph correct me if i'm wrong.
so if i paint them i won't have that problem and get a good building bock out of it

its a plywood tank and i'm thinking i'll set them on 1/8 acrylic as well as the rocks so i don't scratch my epoxy

the tank is 3' tall so i want to pile some of the rocks up most of the way i'm also keeping sa/ca cichlids so i need large territory divides. i was unsure on building off a piece of pvc
