I can get a bunch of mud carp very cheap that I could use as feeders. But I am not sure about Thiaminase.

Generally, I use tilapia, which is low, and stay clear of tinfoils, high. But what about Cirrhinus?

You can always play it safe be using them sparingly as an addition to your feeding regimen. No need to avoid them completely, just as an occasional meal. I have a few thousand Rosy Reds (loaded with Thiaminase) in my freezer, and continue to feed them occasionally to various predatory fish, reptiles and even birds. I just make sure that they make up only a very small percentage of the diets of those critters. I give a lot away to some locals as well; one of my neighbours uses them as a treat for his chickens! :)
