hi have imported a batch of citharinus citharus. there was two different type that came in one is citharinus citharus and the other type is citharinus gibbosus. they have very interesting fish. looks like a distichodus cross with a prochildus but there not. they where caught in the congo river basin. they not very aggressive love to swim in school.

How big will they get, Ray? These look like they'd be great dithers. I might have to shoot you a message. ;-)

Awesome, these do look like they'd make great dither fish. Almost like an African version of silver dollars.

My thoughts exactly! I can't go purely African without giving up my goonch (which isn't gonna happen!), but I would like to keep my tank Old World. I was considering getting a school of SDs after my move, but I think I might like to try some of these. Of course though, SDs are like $8 a pop and I won't care if they get eaten. Decisions, decisions...

the Citharinus citharus are realy awsome fish they dont bother there tank mates always in a school to them self. Citharinus citharus will get to 22" Citharinus gibbosus 24"
