I hear Texas Cichlids really vary in temperament. The Knife will more likely be mellow. There are some pretty mean Knives out there, but most are pretty chill from my experience. I have found in my experience that Cichlids tend to pick on Clown Knives and will have scars from them. It can work providing that both fish are mellow.

Then I don't want it. I just want some fish that will grow to the size of a severum and have color on them that will not cause any trouble in my peaceful tank.
