CK and pellets

My clown knife eats pellets lol never trained him though. He puts his mouth on the gravel and feels around for them when ever it's feeding time lol
 
How big is your ck.cause i got mine on pellets when it was around 5inches.When it was smaller it was on strickly feeders.But now i got him to eat sinking and floating hakari gold,massivore(now ignores goldes). its is now 15-16inch
 
I had mine on feeders for the first month or two until he was around 6 inches, then I went to silversides, and from there pellets. It's a process that I've had to use with all the ck's I've had. The one I have now was the most difficult to work with, but he eats any sinking pellet. He's on massivore now, and even spits out silversides. He even eats the cichlid pellets I put in the tank for the sev.:naughty: How big is it? I had to try every night to get him to eat them, and for about a week, he didn't pay any attention to them, and then, he got hungry. I wouldn't reccomend this until they are around 8 inches and a hefty weight though.
 
my 18" eats everything, including floating and sinking pellets. never had a problem since the day i bought it at around 3". ate pellets right away.
 
My CK eats anything and everything I put in the tank. Veggie rounds, shrimp/medley, shrimp sinking pellets, cichlid flakes, freeze dried foods, hikari pellets, the list goes on...
 
I've kept 4 ACK,4 GCK,1 CK,1 RCK. They all ate pellets(massivores,sinking gold med), of course, they eat other food too.
 
mine is on whatever i feed them with pellets, lives, frozen and so is my other fishes, and i never even try to train
