CK...bugga no eat...y?

new clown knife not eating...not even lil feeder shrimp(ghost shrimp). hes max 3.5 inches right now...what else can i try cause he isnt eating pellets or baby fish nothing live or prepared yet...i dont want to lose him...he is in a 55gal with an albino pleco right now but nothing that i can think of that would prevent him from eating...some large female guppies that i use to feed my western and eastern painted turtles...

How long have you had him? Many of my fish take a few days before they get used to their environment and start eating. Also, make sure that he has a few places to hide, so that he feels more comfortable. You can also try feeding him when the lights go out.

At that size try frozen bloodworms, but yea if hes still new, give him some time.

Bloodworms. Mine only eats them. He's taken some ghost shrimp and a tiny rosey minnow, but he prefers bloodworms.

Mine eats just about anything, but he likes prawn meat pieces best!

maybe he does need time... i havent seen him since i put him in there....he is probably freaked out by the enourmous albino pleco in there with him...well its enourmous compared to him. blood worms ill try that.

Frozen bloodworms will definitely do the trick. They love bloodworms at that size!

he refuses to come out...he hasnt come out since he found a cave 20 20 20 24hours ago...."i want to be sedated"...but yes and i say him in the cave when he first found it but havent seen him for twelve hours dont know where he went...sad...didnt see him at 9this evening to come out for frozen blood worm cube that slowly defrosted and all sank and is currently sitting on my gravel.
