is it possible to keep 2 ck in a 220 gallon without them fighting cause ive heard they can be very aggressive toward each other thanks guys

Depends on the individual fish. Over the years, I've read that CKs should be kept as a singular tank specimen. I have seen many pairs and groups of CKs kept together. So, it is possible.

I've kept many types of CKs together. They nipped each other @ 1st but stopped after few days.

crap lol well hopefully mine workout then :D

It should be fine. I'm just saying that everything I've read has seem to be false with these guys. I've kept them with many other fish and many have kept them in pairs or groups. It's just funny how all these "encyclopedia" books I've seen has said opposite.

Should work fine especially if they were raised together when young.

As long as they are the same size and introduced together when young you should be fine. I have raised 3 before together until they were at least 14" apiece! I have started with 2 smaller ones right now that were introduced that have squabbled but are getting along fine but they have killed a smaller CK tankmate that I introduced later. Just make sure there are plenty of hiding places and they are about the same size. They seem to fight over spots in the tank rather than just attack on site at least in my case.

Well this thread has saved me asking the exact same question. I have a 13-14inch CK and was looking at getting a RCK, but its a bit smaller at 10-11inch from what yous have said i doubt that'll be a good idea.. I've only had it for about 3 weeks but its a bit dominate towards my NTT and bass
