what are some of clown knifes favorite food when young and when it gets bigger?

Bloodworms are always a favorite. Mine practically won't touch anything except for live or a certain brand of Freeze-Dried Shrimp I've been trying to get him to eat other things too.

depending on how big it is try the different sizes of hikari cichlid gold, mine 5 inches and eats the mediums.

Shrimp, krill, bloodworms, smelt, pellets, even flakes!

Definitly smelt is the food favorite though!

hmm i will let you know. Mine is about 7 inches in a 75 right now. after that hes going in an indoor pond.

He has been in the 75 for about 4 months

silversides
freeze dried krill (when the filter pushes it off the surface)
