CK growth rate

What's in the 220 that would be a danger to a 4 inch CK? They grow quickly to 10 inches then start slowing a little, don't quote me on this, but maybe 12 inches in 6 months if even that. Depends also on what you're feeding him. I used to feed mines massivor delight till he decided to dry himself out on my floor :banghead::( that was my fault though. That sucks just thinking about it.

Not dangerouse really i mean there is a like 10 inch aro but i dnt think he would mess wit the ck cause the ck was in the 220 for a couple days.... Not ome messed with its like he wasnt confident enough to come out n grt food so i put him in the 55 so i could try n speed grow him... I feed omega one frozen super carnivore cubes, omega one flake and like tetra shrimp pelets... I jus want him big enough so he will eat silver sides so then i can feed him from my hand

If he's eating all that, he'll grow fast enough. If you want go and grow him out in your 55 that's exactly what you should do. It's not like you don't have a plan B. Your in good shape

If you're just trying to get him to size up, you probably don't need to worry about it outgrowing the 55g. You can probably grow it out to 7"-8" in a few months, but by that time, your Aro will probably be around 12"-14"
 
i still dont think the aro will care bout him the aro isnt the issue its the geos n what not lol. they jus get all the flake n bloodworms before the ck can and it seems they put him off because they f that ish up lol. so i figure since i already hand feed my aro i can handfeed my ck too... hes letting me handfeed him like bunched up flakes right now.
 
i know this is old but figured id update... went from 4 inches to 6 since i started this thread so that would be.... a month plus a week or so.. growing like a weed eating silversides... he will be hiding in his spot and i will drop one in the other side of the tank and he will freak would and go searching for it lol. its cool to watch. ill post pics here soon once i can get one of him standing still
