I am concerned that my new clown knife is not eating. I am offering him frozen worms and pellets.. he is brand new to me and about 3 inches long. He seems very timid in my 110 gal tank. I also have purple parrots, and green terrors.

they feed at night you might want to try to feed him at night time when its dark.. if you just got him then he might be a little stressed nothing to worry.

You used the word "NEW." What was the previous owner or store feeding? If you buy a new fish, always ask what its currently being fed.

at 3 " long i would offer small feeder guppies until he is atleast 8" then can move him over to pellets and blood worms.

i agree, when i got my first CK he wouldn't come out to feed unless the tank was dark or if he was already out getting a breath from the surface or something. also, they will naturally be more entised by the live food. slowly ween them off the live in due time if possible

Feed him frozen blood worms but just don't thaw them all the way so that way they are still in the cube and it looks like live food but won't swim around the tank
