Anyone had their knife suddenly slough off their slime coat. The eyes are all cloudy and the slime is just hanging off the body. Added some melafix and pimafix and it seems to be doing alright but has anyone had this happen? Every other fish in the tank is fine (arowana, tigerfish, fire eels nd frt.)

Its always a problem when only one fish in the tank is not normal. I hope you dechlorinated your water, the other fish will be less sensitive to chlorine burn than the knife (small scale fish are more sensitive to these things). The chlorine in tapwater will burn the fishes skin and eye membrane, aswell as reducing its ability to remove oxygen from the water.
