CK info?

I'm sure that this can be found somewhere online, either be it here or Google, but I'm lazy. I was just wondering how fast CKs do grow. My lfs has one about 10" already and wanted to see if they grow as quickly from that size and they do from when they're small. It's $20 and I wanted to surprise my fiancee w/ it. Is that a good price also? Thank you.

its an ok for your area but in my area you can get them for like 15in. for $20

Short answer, they should grow fast. Given the proper environment that fish should be around 20" in a year.

No, I didn't spend that hour researching. I was taking care of my two little girls under 2, one of them being in my avatar. It would be in a 75 for maybe a month at most, but then moving to my 300 once it's setup...
