CK = Live Feeders

I am contemplating purchasing a stunning albino CK from a local fish store. The fish is approximately 7-8" long and accepts feeder fish only. I know that switching baby CKs to pellets is a relatively easy task. Would it be the same for an adolesent? Anything I should be aware of before making my purchase?

You'll be able to do it easily. That's a perfect size.

My CK is that size . I just starved him for a day then gave him some frozen krill and Silversides. He ate those no problem but he still spits pellets out.

Just be patient and it'll learn to eat non-live food.

You can also find a happy medium between Live and pellets. My Royal eats raw shrimp chunks and small little pieces the Aro and Dats miss. He acts like a catfish looking around the bottom.

Nevermind (at least for now): I went to LFS to buy the fish and it turned out to only hve one eye Sucks because he has such beautiful and uniform spots... I ended up not getting him
