CK not eating

I have a ~12 inch ck in a 125 gallon tank along with 3 sun cats (2 x 3 inch, 1 x 6 inch). I've managed to get him to eat pellets (and he has been for a while) but recently I haven't seem him eat anything. After not seeing him eat anything for about a week and a half, I relented and bought some ghost shrimp and some type of small fish (not goldfish, not minnows) for him to eat. However, he merely killed the fish, after chewing on them first, while all the ghost shrimp were quickly eaten by the cats. All in all he hasn't eaten anything for about two weeks now? Does anyone have any idea why?

I also recently noticed many many small white things all over the inside of my tank. They look like very small, thin white lines but they move around on their own power (sometimes). Could they be a reason that the ck isn't eating anything?

even if i could take pics it would just show up as a very small white line - think like " l " but even smaller

Sounds like planeria. But hard to say with no pics. You could do a search on it and look for pics on the internet to be sure, though. They donot harm fish though.
