CK Spots

I finally got myself a Clown Knife!

I got him from a LFS that has grown him for about 3 or 4 months now, he is about 3 - 4 inches now, they were quite sad to see him go as he is quite a character!

He is very healthy and seems to be eating ok, pellets, frozen bloodworm and flakes so far. He only has one spot on him though, others I have seen seem to have more!? Do they grow more spots the bigger they get?

Spots vary from CK to CK. There has been incidents where CK's spots will change with age, but their change isn't very obvious usually...very subtle. There was a member here who put his CK out into his pond for the summer and when he caught it to bring back in for the winter, the spots had change.

i have kept one for 2 years now, from 3" to 14".
The spots dont change much, just stretch out as it gets bigger.

It has actually been getting a new spot the last few months, i first thought it was a wound or something but its getting bigger. Will try to get a pic of it to compare to an older pic.
