hey there, new to forum, not to aquaria, nice to meet everyone, got a few monster fish, currently have 3 tanks, this is my second go at a clown knife, first was sad:(

i recently picked up a 90US gal tank, have the water at about 27deg C currently occupied
10inch Male JD
10inch Senegal Bichir
5 inch male convict
5 inch femal Jag
10inch sailfin pleco
small jewel
and a brts

just added a clown knife about 4 days ago, he is about 4 inches, seems to be okay, tough to get him the food he likes, i do get dew worms down to his shell which is his daytime cover as CK's are nocturnal, but i also have some flatheads i breed i throw in at night before the light goes of, curious at his chances of getting them, as they are all gone in the morning! any info or tips thanks guys :)

CKs are nocturnal by nature, but will come out of hiding for food once it's comfortable in the tank, day or night. If you are feeding live, even though they may not look vicious, they are ambush predators that wait patiently until the moment is right for striking. So in essence, they don't chase their prey down, but stock and wait for the perfect time to ambush.

ive noticed that with my fatheads he waits untill its right in front of him and snatch! i just hope that since my bichir and JD like to be showoffs it doesnt stress him out, also my pleco likes to run into the hiding spots sometimes leaving him trapped in there with him :(
