CL 4 a 75

Hello. I think CL rock. But atm all i have is a 75. At my LFS they have ALOT of CL they are approx. 1.5" 4 - $10.00 i was wondering if i could get 4 and grow them out to about 6" and sell them. First of all how long does this take? Would it work with the fish in my sig. There is no agression. There is DW a Deep cave no1 goes in and a good bit of plants. Thanks

you could keep them in there but it takes along time for a CL to make it to 6". If you're wanting to grow them out to make money, you will lose money just feeding them in that time

As said before, if youre looking to make a profit out of growing out a fish, the clown loach isnt ideal. If you just plain want cl's then your 75 will do for a good long time. cl's grow so slow and at 4 for $10 I would definitely not pass that up. I could get 1 and a half for $10.

I would buy them. I am planning to get some for my 75, and the cheapest I have seen is $10 dollars for 2 inchers. Large ones I've seen at a nicer LFS for $40 a piece.

Not Realy for a profit just getting rid of them before they got to to big. Then I would proble start again.

No such thing as a clown loach getting too big.
