I picked up some clowns today, all around 5". Somewhere between the LFS and their QT tank, one of them suffered a bifurcated subocular spine injury  . The right spine is stuck on being out :WHOA: . Clown loach is displaying very stressed out behavior... sitting on the bottom, close to the heater all grayed out... he was breathing heavily but that has since slowed to a normal rate. He is in there with 3 other clowns his size (I purchased 4 today), plenty of hiding places, clean water, lights are out, etc. I added a bit of Melafix (afraid of an open wound (?) getting infected) and added an airstone for extra oxygen. I am not sure what else to do for a spine injury? Never had this happen before... any advice? It would be much appreciated -- :(

Seems to be improving, is schooling with the other clowns now. Put a slice of cucumber in to see if they would eat it -- they have shown no interest so far...
