cleaning out tank, inside a hollow spot in the driftwood was a cache of fish eggs along the inside walls of this grotto.. the only way into this opening was from underneath. So was it the Yo yo's (5-6"), red tail botia's (5-6"), watermelon plecos (8" to 10") or the Cl's the biggest population in the tank ranging from 6" to 10" pack of 17,
My plecos are fairly scuffed up, in fact the reason for cleaning the tank is I found my 10" pleco dead when I came home from work.
This really has me bummed as I waited forever to find an L330 that size in this market.
# 1 theory -All of my 3 L330's where pretty scuffed up, today after everything had settled down looks like 2 of the L330' s paired up and 3 was a crowd..
#2 theory he was trying to pilfer the eggs and got his as% handed to him.
Thanks Lupin they looked similar however after reading the article the Clown loaches are egg scattering like a silver dollar. Which to means it was a pair of plecos..since they where stuck on all 3 sides of the log..
