Growth rate is always dependent on the conditions you provide them. What size is your tank? How often and how much water do you replace? Filtration? Foods? These are extremely slow growers though the downside is this gives the interpretation that they can be kept in small tanks even for months which is not the case here. A larger tank is the best environment you can give to a small group of clowns.
From point of birth to 3-4", they can grow pretty fast, but the average is generally a foot long in a decade. This is why you dont see many big clowns.
