I been feeding my rays night crawler and market shrimp they love it. I was just wondering if I can feed my rays clams as diet? Has anyone try this>

I would imagine clams would be messy and foul the water.. I think there is a reason why most raykeepers stick to 'clean' seafoods like market prawn.

I feed scallops and squid as well.

i fed some of mine squid clams cockels mussels etc.... just make sure they are either really good and fresh or i prefer the frozen ones

Miles are right, they ARE messy. If you want to use them, cut them into small pieces so the rays dont have to chew. Will spare your water. You also have to make sure that they eat it all. Any leftovers will turn the water bad in no time. Will make it smell like dead fish.

Im not using mussels or clams anymore. Just to risky and time consuming. Use the withe meat form shallops instead.. ;)
