Clams

Any body have clams in their tanks with sand beds? I'm thinkin about for my the tank I'm setting up.

I have two clams in one of my tanks. I use aragonite which is a little more coarse than sand. They just sit there, with half of their shell hanging out and part of the shell open... I guess they are filter feeding. They move every couple of days.

I wanted to use them in a tank I used to have setup, but it had a puffer. And it would've taken those things out the second they touched water.

i had some mussles in my tank.
i thought they had died, until i took down my tank and took out the sand.
