hello.i have a question regarding my catfish and crossbreeding.
i have 2x clarias batrachus male and female, and 2 x tandanus tandanus, not sure what sex, only about a year old.
what is unusual is the clarias are or,were a pair, but since buying them and putting them with my tandanus catfish, have not been behaving as a clarias pair would, instead, the female clarias "bonding" with one (the same one always) of my tandanus.they are always sitting beside each other, only really seperating when feeding,or when the clarias take some air in.
my question is can these 2 be considered compatible and breed?
has anyone ever herd of catfish crossbreeding in the past?
any insight would be greatly appreicated.
