Clarias gariepinus

Hello there,

I have the opportunity to get Clarias gariepinus in 20 and 30 cm length and I am not quite sure if I should do it, mainly because of the very sparse info that exists about them regarding long-term keeping in an aquarium and NOT aquaculture .

Did or does anyone keep those very interesting fish ? What about sizes in captivity ?

I have decided not to buy them, they simply would get too big even for the new tank, aside how cool they are, I'll stick to C. batrachus .
