Clarius (walking catfish) help

hey guys, long time since i posted on here =]

right..so, i was at a store local to me at the w.end and they had a 7inch'ish walking catfish there and i have to have it, so every1 says how active they are, so far mine has just sat underneath one of the filters? is this normall? will he liven up? also i have tried feeding a few chopped up muscles,prawns etc but he doesnt seem interested atm any ideas? hes in a 300litre tank with a juvie flowerhorn. i cant tell you if the behavior is normal but try feeding nightcrawlers thats what i did to get my lima to start eating frozen.

okay ill give that a try, dnt no much about this fish but i fell in love with it, any other keeperes out there?

It's about the toughest catfish ever.Maybe it needs to get used to the tank. I used to keep them when I was a kid. Feeding is easy and they grow really fast. They'll try eating anything so watch out for that juvie flowerhorn. The whiskers(barbel) shrinking are an indicator when the water screws up seriously.

Most of the time they just lay around, but during feeding time, they go nuts. When they're in a group, they can be pretty active.
