Classic ? from new B, AE: FISH FOOD

2 years in hobby now. 5 months with new setup. Large aquarium with Pbass, Spotface pike. Need tips to convert fish to prepared foods...


Info: Pbass aprox 6-8 months old at 6-7 inches. Only have been fed feeders. Pike about a foot now.

Also, raising Polypterus ornatipinnis , and Wide band Dat. These little fellas I'm starting out with blood worms. Now trying a mix of chopped cocktail shrimp with cichlid pellets.


Current stat : Bass and pike not taking anything more than an earthworm(almost will eat them right out of my hand), Starved 3 days with no more than 3 earthworms these 3 are not eating the cocktail shrimp nor massivor pellets. I do not want to harm these guys.

Any suggestions?!

Fish Fast in the wild, when i had Gar and the only thing they would eat is feeders. I know this sounds bad but, if they didnt like it, they didnt eat and a couple weeks later they were eating hakiria pellets. (even my gator gar converted).

So your saying NOT to feed them ANYTHING till they jusy eat the pellets?

Whats annoying is I know these fish see my True festae and catfish devouring these pellets and they just ignore them...

I'll just keep plugging away with this and NOT give in.
